Mexx Engineering and OMRON forge closer ties

Mexx Engineering designs and manufactures state-of-the-art manufacturing automation solutions and robotic systems.

Based at Arundel on Queensland’s Gold Coast, Mexx Engineering firmly believes that automation is the future of industrial manufacturing.

Established over 14 years ago, the company provides innovative solutions across a broad range of industry sectors throughout Australia and New Zealand.

This includes manufacturing, plastics, food & beverage, wood, pharmaceutical, mining, construction and defence.

Mexx Engineering specialises in automated robotic systems, custom automation and turnkey systems and custom design engineering.

The Mexx team works closely with clients to create innovative manufacturing solutions that are practical, cost-effective, and can be easily integrated with existing systems.

Strong partnership

For several years, Mexx Engineering has had a successful association with OMRON, using and endorsing OMRON products and services.

“OMRON is a preferred supplier of automation equipment including PLCs, HMIs and servo motors,” says Mexx Engineering founder and Director, Luis De Jesus.

“We’ve always had a strong partnership,” he says.

That partnership grew even stronger this month when Mexx Engineering joined OMRON’s Accredited System Integrator Program.

Through its Accredited System Integrator Program, OMRON partners with approved system integrators across Australia and New Zealand, who will design solutions and install OMRON Electronics’ products into end users’ facilities and OEMs machinery providers.

Extensive training

“Both of our companies will benefit under this agreement,” Mr De Jesus says. “And our clients will also benefit with OMRON’s added support.”

Under the agreement, OMRON provides extensive training for ASI partners.

“The OMRON training will add value to our fast-growing engineering team. Most of all, it will keep us in the forefront of innovation and technology.”

OMRON Oceania Managing Director Henry Zhou welcomed Mexx Engineering to the ASI program.

“Mexx Engineering is an innovative company with a reputation for outstanding service maintenance and support.

“OMRON is proud to include them in the ASI Program and we look forward to working with their team.”
